Delete your account

Recipe Optimizer

In the app

1. Open Recipe Optimizer and go to Settings.
2. Tap Delete account.
3. Type the confirmation word shown in the dialog and confirm.

Your account and data are deleted right away. A Google Play subscription is not cancelled by this: cancel it in Google Play under Payments & subscriptions.

Without the app

If you no longer have the app, email christoph.altmann.dev@gmail.com from the Google account you signed in with, asking us to delete your account. We delete it within 30 days and confirm by email.

What is deleted

• Your account (name, email address, profile picture).
• Your Recipe Book with all its recipes and images, also for the people you shared it with.
• Your Templates, Renditions, translations, meal plan and settings.
• Your memberships in other people's Recipe Books and your data in them. Recipes you added to their books stay there.
• Your Public Links stop working.

Kept: recipes that others already saved to their own Recipe Books (they are their copies), a one-way hash of your Google account ID so that the same Google account does not get a second free Trial, and for each Google Play purchase a hash of its purchase token with your internal user ID, so that a subscription is used by only one account.
